The 2nd Annual Market Street Community Block Party

 What: It is important for the people of our community to come together, network, and learn valuable information about the Alton Riverbend Community. Alton is rich in cultural resources- schools, churches, businesses, etc. This event is hosted by the collaboration of several local organizations. Come and enjoy a day of fun with free activities – inflatable bounce houses, slides, games, arts and crafts, free food, entertainment, and more for entire family.

 When: Saturday August 21, 2010 11:00am to 3:00pm

 Where: 400 Block of Market Street, Alton Illinois 62002

 Why: It is our goal to promote a positive and powerful way for people in the Alton River Bend area to connect and build stronger, safer, and a more cohesive community.

 Who: Market Street Community Block Party is collaboration between several churches, educational facilities, businesses and local organizations in the Alton-River Bend Area..

SJMBC will be hosting an all you can eat breakfast on June 12, 2010 from 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM.  The cost is $10 for adults and $7 for children ages 4-12.  This will be held at SJMBC 427 Market Street, Alton, Illinois 62002.  For more information please call 618-465-5954.  This year’s event will be featuring Chris Cakes of St. Louis. You can pay at the door.

Come and enjoy free inflatable bounce houses & slides, craft activities, food, and music, and more for entire family, it’s St. John Missionary Baptist Church 1st Annual Block Party.

It’s a community get together where you’ll find hundreds of smiling faces, kids, and families having fun and getting to know one another.

Everyone is invited come join us for food, fun, fellowship, and entertainment.

The SJMBC Block Party will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 427 Market Street in Alton, Illinois. Come out for food, games, and the fellowship.
