Free Christmas Dinner 2013

While going without basic necessities like food is a serious issue throughout the year, Christmas can be a particularly difficult time for low-income families, single parents, the homeless and all that are in need. SJMBC invites you to our FREE Christmas celebration dinner.

Who can attend this Christmas Dinner?

There are no requirements limiting who can eat, and there are no RSVP. We plan to serve approximately 200 guest.

The feast includes two types of meat, mashed potatoes, stuffing, green beans, dinner rolls, and a variety of desserts.

Everybody would like to enjoy a delicious dinner on Christmas Day and St. John Missionary Baptist Church (SJMBC) wants to make sure that everyone in our community can do just that. Dinner will be served 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at SJMBC located 427 Market Street, Alton, Illinois 62002. for more information, St. John Missionary Baptist Church phone number is (618) 465-5954.

Do you share a desire to help this year with the Christmas Dinner? Call SJMBC Deacon Antonio Stephens at (618) 462-4617 to sign up to volunteer for this event; to donate turkeys and hams, or to make a monetary donation. Your tax-deductible donation will help to purchase the food necessary for the meal. Financial contributions can be made payable to St. John Missionary Baptist Church and mailed to: 427 Market Street, Alton, Illinois 62002.
